To see you in my life again
Was beyond my utter imagination,
But then, you came at my door,
And gave me a chance of confession.
I saw your smile; same and simple
As I asked you to come in.
I was going mad with joy,
And we started talking.
We talked and talked and talked
And evening came rolling.
Time flew as the birds fly,
And the sun sets in.
Those old days flashed before me
As I offered you coffee.
You got up and were gone,
And I thought you to be coming.
The foggy morning confuted me
And made everything clear,
For it was my dream again;
‘Life giving but rare’.
Afterthought:
I wrote it three times and lost it. But I sought it from my heart’s shelf, everytime, because man forgets nothing like his own dreams. After all, you don’t see these dreams daily, when you can see them, talk to them, feel their presence.
